Childcare Lead Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to nurturing and educating young children in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, fostering their development through play-based learning and structured activities. The Child Care Teacher will collaborate with parents and staff to create a positive learning atmosphere that supports the growth of each child.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Provide high-quality care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Create a welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children in developing positive social skills.
• Engage with children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other educational activities.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with diverse needs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom setting.

Experience

• Previous experience in daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus; certification may be required.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support children's emotional development.
• Background in babysitting or childcare roles will be considered an asset.
