2 Lead Teachers

RRPP is currently interviewing and hiring 2 lead teachers for the 2025-2026 preschool year.  We are hiring one lead teacher for the Pre-K a.m. class that meets Monday-Thursday, the teacher’s hours are 8:30-1:00.  The other position is for the 3 day 3’s that meets Monday-Wednesday, the teacher’s hours would be 8:30-11:45.

We are looking for someone that has a love for children, a passion for creating a nurturing, safe, fun learning environment.  Also, showing patience, caring and understanding of children.

Duties:

Classroom Management: The ability to manage a classroom environment effectively, enforce safety rules and maintain a positive environment that is conducive to learning through play. Maintain an organized and classroom environment.                                                

Child Development: Possessing an understanding of child development principles and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.  Facilitating age-appropriate activities, songs, games, fingerplays, and storytelling.                                                                                    

Lesson Planning: Collaborating with other teachers to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans to promote learning and that align with the State of Ohio Standards.  Ability to work well in a team.                                                                         

Communication: Demonstrating communications skills with children, and parents verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:

• Preferred – 1 year of teaching or working with children
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass background check
• Will need CPR and First Aid certification
