Position Overview
We are seeking a Training & Curriculum Manager to enhance the quality and consistency of care across our centers by designing and delivering professional development, supporting curriculum implementation, and guiding positive behavior strategies. This role works closely with directors, teachers, and support staff to ensure alignment with our values, regulatory standards, and best practices in child development. Reporting directly to the Director of Educational Excellence, this position requires regular travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Professional Development

  • Design, coordinate, and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for staff at all centers.
  • Assess training needs and develop responsive training plans in collaboration with the Director of Educational Excellence.
  • Facilitate workshops, coaching, and reflective practices to build staff capacity.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation training requirements.

Curriculum Support

  • Assist in classroom environmental assessments and improvements.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with state standards and our educational philosophy.
  • Conduct classroom observations, provide feedback, and model best practices.
  • Support teachers in selecting curriculum materials and using assessment data to inform instruction.

Behavior Support

  • Collaborate with directors to implement behavior support plans.
  • Promote trauma-informed, inclusive practices across all programs.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with center directors to maintain consistency and excellence across programs.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource to teaching staff.
  • Assist with evaluating program quality and developing action plans for improvement.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous program enhancement.

Qualifications

  • CPL Level 3 or higher; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Communication, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood settings, including classroom teaching.
  • Experience with curriculum implementation, staff training, and behavior guidance preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, positive behavior support, and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills, with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between sites as needed.
